Using EA with Visual Sourcesafe

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anybody had used EA successfully witn Visual Sourcesafe. Any issues or pitfalls.  Thanks.

I'm using it a long time. No problems so far. The main question is what's your need to use VSS.

I'm just using it for access control (check-in/check-out) and backup.

I'm not using it for version control which, until now, I haven't figured out the best way of using VSS and EA to do that.  :(

Look into the section "version control".

And the obligatory question:
Why don't you use SVN/Tortoise client. It's for free, easy to use and directly supported.

Not my choice of using VSS. The client standards are imposed.

Thank you Nestevao.

The client standard imposes that as the only source control and unfortunately, we will need to do version control as various teams will be working on the saem project.
