Display notes text in element

I recently purchased EA Pro.  I have an activity diagram with multiple activity elements on it.  For each element, I have notes that need to be displayed in the element on the diagram.  Even after I modify the feature visibility dialog...still cannot show notes !

At present (build 848) EA only shows notes for behavioural elements such as activities if you select Rectangular Notation (use the <Context Menu>|Advanced|Use Rectangular Notation menu item)

NOTE: For Actions you can't even set Rectangular Notation!

If you want to keep non-rectangular format, then you'llneed to use the Feature Linked Notes capability to link a separate Note Element to the Actvity Notes Field...

Thanks for the info.  Is this a bug ?  I found a workaround by simply dropping a note on to the element.  Not the best solution, but it works for now.  Thanks again.

I presume after dropping the note on the element you then use the Feature linked Note facility to actually link the Note element to the target element.

However, you raise an interesting idea.  It would be cool if one could drop a note on an element NOT in rectangular form and EA could create the link for you.

I am not currently linking the note to the parent element.  I am still learning.  I will look into this.  Thanks.
