Sequence Diagram Parentheses
« on: September 23, 2009, 03:28:47 am »
Hi,

Is there a way to suppress the set of parentheses that appear at the end of the message label for sequence diagrams? For example, I have a message representing an actor clicking a link on a web page. It would be nice not to have parentheses appended the words "select checkout".

I can select "suppress brackets for operations without parameters" in the features tab of the diagram properties dialog, but this is rather indiscriminate in that I can't differentiate between actual software method calls and actor messages.

Thanks

Jonathan

Sorry, I wasn't being too bright with this one. I've just used a text element in place of a message name for non-software calls.

Try opening the diagram properties to the features page.

There is a checkbox 'Suppress Brackets for Operations without Parameters'
