Virtual and Resource Documents
« on: October 02, 2009, 05:54:52 pm »
Hi,

I just created some Virtual Documents by selecting the template to use and packages to inlcude. But no matter what V-doc I use to create, EA uses the same RTF file name. Then, there are resource documents, which will remember the RTF configuration including the file name.

So is there a way to store the file name within the v-docs? Or can I use resource docs in combination with v-docs?

Why are there two almost similar ways to create preconfigured documents? Which is intended for what use?

thanks,

jan

Yes, it's possible to select the virtual document, hit F8, set the "Name" of the RTF document, select the RTF template to use, and press "Resource Docuement" to remember this configuration.
