Default compartment visibility of individual class
« on: October 16, 2009, 05:13:12 pm »
Is there a way how to set default (compartment) visibility of a given class so that it is displayed like that when you drag&drop it from project browser on a diagram? I don't know what happened or how it was achieved, but I have some classes (representing data tables) that show no attributes when dropped on a class diagram. I couldn't find EA feature to set this for other classes where I need it. I don't belive that EA once had it and that it was discontinued. I'm spending to much time formatting diagrams instead of modeling...
Thanks.

I think this topic: Setting the REAL default appearance may cover what you are experiencing...

Whatever the shape looks like on the "default diagram", it will appear that way when you drag and drop.  You can test this by changing the layout with Set Feature Visibility [Ctrl+Shift+Y] and dragging it again (once you've "found" the default diagram).

Submit a formal feature request to have this fixed...
