Generating rtf document with cross-references
« on: October 19, 2009, 08:33:12 pm »
Hi,

I am sorry if this question has already been asked.
I couldn't find a response searching in this site.

We are generating rtf documents from our enterprise projects.
We would like to add explicit reference to figures and tables in our text.
How can we do it?
Are there some kind of tags that can be used in text to refer to diagrams and that the report generator replaces with rtf cross-references?

Thanks in advance

Guy

If the text where the references are, is stored in a Linked Document (rather than Element.Notes), then you can have hyperlinks to Element/diagrams by dragging these onto the Linked  Document editor.
With the tables you can store these internaly in  linked documents or a Document Artifact element.
