Images in diagrams
« on: October 26, 2009, 11:20:49 pm »
We are using EA(7.1) to define a flow for a UI application.
Our customer provided us with mock-screenshots and we would like to use these in our activity diagrams.
I simply added Object-elements to the diagrams and selected "Appearance>Select Alternate Image" to add the screenshots to the object. Looks great so far.
The only problem is that the images are not submitted to subversion when I check my stuff in.
Am I doing it wrong or is there a different way for putting images into diagrams?

Cheers,

Jochen

Select Tools | Options from the Main menu, and then select 'XML Specifications' group of the Options dialog.

Check the 'Export Alternate Images' and export your model to the subversion.

Maybe this option solves the issue.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer.
The option was already selected. After I checked that I searched through the xml files. Looks like as if there are no references to the images stored in them.
I guess the information about the images is stored in the eap file.
How can i force EA to put those images into subversion?

Thanks,

Jochen
