root models visibility
« on: July 12, 2020, 09:08:09 pm »

currently i am working on different Model Architectures in EA. I would like to have all Models in one file, so I imagine having for each model a root model in the project browser.

But in addition to this I would like to have only one root model or only some packages available for other users.

How can this be realized?

Explain what you mean by "available".

There is a function to hide entire root nodes within your repository from users that are not within that group. However, you should be aware that this is more of a convenience function. Users can still find the contents of those packages through searches etc.

If you are in a situation where those contents need to be completely hidden, EA does provide access to a more advanced version that allows individual packages to be hidden in such a way that the EA client has no way to access the contents.
