How to retrieve deleted model?
« on: November 12, 2009, 03:29:13 am »
Hi, I'm new to EA and by mistake I managed to delete my Business Workflow model.

Please can someone advise how I can retrieve this through the application?

In the Project Browser panel I can nolonger see "Model -> Business Process Model -> Business Workflows".  I spent days on this model :-(

Thanks a lot for your help.

Many thanks
Gurnam

Hi Gurnam,

I'm afraid if you don't have a backup of your .eap file/database, or an XMI export of your 'Business Workflows' model, you've lost your work.
When you deleted it manually, you should have been warned by the popup dialog.

Sorry, I know this doesn't really help ...

Are you sure you haven't just dragged it into another package?
That might happen easily and at the first sight you don't see the difference with a deleted package.
Try searching for one of the elements that you know are in the supposedly deleted model.
