Link to Glossary Terms from other elements
« on: October 14, 2009, 07:49:35 pm »
Is there a way to define a link to a Glossary entry? I'd like to avoid that I have to document abbreviations on different location (e.g. in notes on classes and components diagrams etc.).

I don't think there is, but you can automatically include the glossary in any documentation - rtf or html - you generate.

Now what would be really nice would be to generate documentation that has hyperlinks to glossary definitions!

If you are wanting more comlex glossary entries, then it may be best to set up a Package callled 'Glossary' - each element being a term with notes being a definition.
If you are using Linked Documents for documenting complex text - the the Glossary Elements can be dragged onto the Linked documents to form hyperlinks to the Glossary Elements.
Nevertheless - if you want upgrades to the glossary features - it is best you submitt them as Feature Requests (see Support below).

How do you automatically generate a glossary with the elements already created?
