SVN Branching - How did you do it?

Hi All,

One of my colleagues is keen to use Subversion and branching to cater for future model development.  From the comments I've read here in the forums this does seem like it's somewhat non-trivial to do with EA.

For those who've been down this road how did you implement this?  Was it worth the pain - if any?

We work with EA and SVN but decided no to use SVN for bbranching, I doublt it is worth the pain.
Just create offline models and merge when required.
