Display both Alias and Name in Requirement Element
« on: January 15, 2010, 04:30:41 am »
Is there a way to display both the requirement alias and name in a diagram?  The default is to display only name.  If you select the"Use Alias if Available" option for the diagram properties you only get the Alias... I would like to have both the alias and the name  in requirement elements in diagrams.

Particularly to facilitate discussion during meetings... for example ...

How do you address a specific requirement in a presentation?  As a presenter you can use a laser pointer to refer to a requirement, as an attendee you have to some how describe a box with text to the group... something like...

Attendee: "How about the blah blah requirement?"
Presenter: "Point to screen... this one?"
Attendee: "No... the requirement two boxes down and to the left three boxes."

This is not very effective.

If you'd searched for "Alias Name" you would have found: Showing Alias in addition to Name which should cover your requirement (look at Sparxian Aaron's first response).
