Part Decomposition in sequence diagram
« on: January 09, 2010, 08:38:03 am »
Below link points a EA document which indicates that 'Part Decomposition' is possible in sequence diagram. But i am not been able to do this using Enterprise Architect software.

http://www.sparxsystems.com/resources/uml2_tutorial/uml2_sequencediagram.html

Thanks in advance for the help!

First drag the port owner on the sequence diagram, and then drag the port onto that owner.
That will create the "part decomposition" as shown in the help.

Hi guys,

I've configured EA with jboss 4.0.5 according to steps described in EA's help. So, I can set breakpoints, create auto generated diagrams but I can't go through my code using "Step In" feature. I can walk only through first class and nothing else. Can smbd give a piece of advice what I've missed in my configuration?

Hi Ernando,

Without being able to give an answer to your question, I'm not so sure if this topic is the right place to put it.
You should probably start another thread with a more appropriate title to get an answer.

Just a suggestion,
Günther

Thanks for suggestion, Makulik. Maybe it really makes a sense.
