jumping lines
« on: February 11, 2010, 08:38:08 pm »
Hello,

modelling a complex system landscape, I have one huge component (height 2 A4 pages and width of one regular component) and about 100 smaller components, which are associated with that central component. These components are placed around the main component.

When I change the size of the huge component, all associated lines are repositioned towards middle of the component.

Is it possible to suppress the automatic reformating of lines towards the center of the component, when the huge components size is changed ?

Thanks
Bernd

I once had a similar issue which I solved with an add-in. Maybe the pin line end (in the context) can help, but I'm not sure.

this also happens with pinned lines.

the line end, which is connected to the huge component, simply gets repositioned towards the middle point.

Has happened to me. Annoyed. A real defect / bug. A bug report required for this for sure. Wonder if v.8 fixes any of these annoying behaviours?
