Is it possible to link an arrow to another arrow ?
« on: March 12, 2010, 11:59:14 pm »
Hello,

I would like to add information on a link between 2 objects (for instance a "generalize" arrow) without usings tags or comments.
I would like to write the informations (for example "arrow added by... on Tuesday") in a separate box (a note or a customized object for example) and link this box and the arrow.

I tried but I can't connect an arrow to another one (maybe I could make a customized arrow with stereotypes but I didn't succeed.

Is it possible to do this link ?

Thank you !

You cannot connect a line to a line in EA, however you can right-click a line (connector) and select "Attach note or constraint" from the menu.

The resultant dialog, allows the same note to be attached to multiple lines.

Try it and see!
Models are great!
Correct models are even greater!
