stereotype
« on: March 16, 2010, 07:57:37 pm »
Hello,

I am trying to customize my toolbox.
I would like to add a link like an association but customized, with a different name (for exemple "main_link") and I need it to be visible in a matrix view.

-I used a metamodel and could add my customized link in the toolbox but I can't select its type in the matrix view.
-I am also able to create a stereotype and see it in the matrix view but I can't add it in the toolbox.
->What I would like to do is the combination of both.

To add my customized link in the toolbox I used a metamodel and a stereotype box where I put the name of my link... but I am not sure the stereotype created is a real stereotype because I can't choose it when I create a link (and right clik property, my stereotype is absent).

Do you hav an idea of what I could do ?

Thank you.

In order for your stereotype to be visible in the Relationship Matrix, you need to make it a metatype by using the _metatype tag. Have a look at the following help topic: Define a Stereotype as a Metatype.
