connector that flows back into another connector
« on: March 25, 2010, 08:30:53 am »
Hi everyone,

I'm drawing an activity diagram for a while loop. As everyone knows, at the end of the while loop, control goes back to the top of the loop (before the checking). So the question is which connector (in Enterprise Architect) allows the control flow goes back into another connector and not into a action or decision node?

Best regards,

Eric

Eric,

In that case I would use a merge node.
the merge node has no other semantic meaning than two merge two transitions.
