Activity Copy to Use Case
« on: February 18, 2010, 04:51:44 am »
hello all.

I"ve got a large activity model that I'd like to copy over to a use case model.  Is there a way to copy a collection of activities, and then add them to a new package as use cases without having to convert elements one at a time?

thanks!
cj
Best regards,
cj

Cj,

Probably the easiest way to achieve this is to export the activities to xmi, edit the xmi file to change the type of the elements to use case, and then import the xmi again. (make sure to tick the strip guid's option)

Thanks.  Saw this a little late and just reposted.

What are others generally doing about developing use case and activity elements?
Best regards,

Currently writing UCs as suggested by Cockburn. We're looking forward to a usable 8.0 so we can capture UC in a structured way.
