Test and Requirement Change Management
« on: May 11, 2010, 12:55:46 am »
How does EA allow the user to keep track of changes in requirements (as far as new changes, etc). In addition, how does EA allow the user to keep results for more than one phase of a test cycle.

To keep track of changes you can look into the auditing feature.
I think this is available for corporate or higher versions.

The maintenance window also has a "Changes" tab where change history for each element can be maintained - however this requires manual intervention and hence discipline.

For test cycles, the way we do that is to define the tests once within one package, then copy this base definition into separate packages for "run 1", "run 2" etc.. so that the results of each cycle are kept.
