Can I copy a Web Style template for HTML report
« on: May 18, 2010, 02:22:13 pm »
Is is possible to make a copy of a Web Style template (in the resources tab) to create a new version of the same template?

I want to copy a highly modified template used for another model and tweak it, the only way I can see to do it now is to copy and paste the code for each section individually?

Thanks
Craig

Craig,

Can't you export the template, edit it (change its name), and import it again?

Thanks Geert, that worked.

I used the Tools->Export Reference Data option and exported the "Templates - HTML Style" and "Templates - HTML Style Detail" tables.

A reasonable amount of Find and Replace and tidy up in the XML and I was able to re-import to create a new Web Template.

Cheers
