Import- connected elements from Excel
« on: June 30, 2010, 01:39:31 am »
I want to import a list of objects that are connected to objects via a simple association. What attributes do I include as col headings to ensure per line that Col A links to Col B via an association.Would I do two separate imports 1] for first object 2] for second object. What attribute defines the connect.

Kan,

Out of the box that is not possible with EA, so you'll have to write something yourself to make it possible.

I've uploaded an excel importer to the community site that could be a starting point.

Hi Geert, I suspected as much but wanted to be sure I did not miss a trick. Any chance you could email me the "excel importer". My Sparx login is corrupt. Have logged a call but time is passing and I need to do a job of work. Many Thanks.
