HTML report for objects located in two packages
« on: July 05, 2010, 06:43:13 pm »
Hello,
I have a question related to HTML documentation generation.

I have two  packages – one package for Requirements, the other for Use Cases. The packages are on the same level in the hierarchy. There is a  traceability diagram in the Requirements package which contains requirements as well as use cases from the other package. I need to generate HTML report for Requirements package.  The HTML report contain the traceability diagram with use cases but I cannot see details of the use cases (scenarios e.g.), because the use cases are located in the Use case package. How can I generate HTML report for a package where I can see details of the objects shown on the diagram, but located in another package?

Thank you very much

Ota

A simple workaround would be to put the 2 packages into a new common package and then start the HTML generation from the common package.
