Converting embedded test cases as elements

Hi,
I have large set of requirements which have the embedded test cases. By embedded I mean - There is no separate test case element but test cases have been created by selecting each requirement and then from testing window adding test cases. I wanted to know is there any way by which all these test cases can be converted into test elements automatically?
It would be a good feature for EA to show test cases in 2 views interchangebly when they are embedded.
1)embedded with requirements
2)independent test cases
