Default Appearance / Alternate image

Is there a way to switch a diagram back and forth between the default appearance and the alternate image.   It would be great to be able to flip a switch at the diagram or project level to jump between management cartoons and development details.  

Also, when creating a stereotype / profile, is it possible to assign the alternate image while keeping tags and the <<stereotype>> visible?
