Can one post screenshot to this forum?
« on: November 07, 2010, 04:02:14 am »
I wanted to write a response containing a screenshot showing that some feature doesn't work as expected. The editor offers a button "Insert image" but that only inserts "", but no dialog to actually embed a graphic file nor does it paste the image from the clipboard. Can one post an image to this forum? If so: how?

Hi Michael,

The method is as follows:

1. Upload your image to an external image hosting site.
2. Copy the URL of your image on that site.
3. Paste the URL between the image links (IIRC)

This is a common request, along with improving the configuration of the forum search!

I use Photobucket, which is quite satisfactory.

Just be careful which site to put your images on.
A lot of those type of sites are blocked by websense or other web blockers, so people at work won't be able to see such images.
