Assign Project Client to an element
« on: November 20, 2010, 05:40:22 am »
I'm evaluating EA, so please be patient.  :)

I'd like to assign people who are responsible for an element (e.g. an activity, action, data object, etc) to that element. I've figured out how to add project clients to a model, but can't figure out how to then assign those people to elements.  How is this done?

Maybe have a look at the Project Management window (View > Other Element Tools > Project Management) and the Maintenance window (View > Other Element Tools > Maintenance).

Thanks for the reply! Neither is what I was looking for, though they did show me how the PM and issue features work.

I'm thinking now that maybe a tagged value on an actor element might do the trick.  Is there any way to setup a tagged value to limit input to Project Clients defined in the Settings|People area?

Thanks!
