Alternate Path

I created an alternate path in a structured specification for a use case which i since deleted. the alternate path however still appears in the list.

How do I get rid of it

You have probably only deleted the entry point to the alternate path.  Click on the "Description" tab (it's next to "Structured Specification").  You should hopefully be able to see your old alternate path here and delete it if you wish.
