Creating a page with a change log
« on: January 07, 2011, 08:19:00 am »
Is it possible to create a change log page at the beginning of the document with EA?

We would like to have the front page show pages changes in the document, so the reviewer can jump directly to the new page.

Any one know how to do that?

This is on the Rich Text Document feature when clicking Generate. We view it in Word 2010.

Not a solution, but I, too, would really like to be able to do this!

For my customer I create the documentation via the API. Changes are currently indicated for reviewed/changed requirements. These are flagged (using tagged values) during import from DOORS. The resulting SyRS points out which requirements were changed since the last document generation. Changes in the model itself are not flagged in the documentation as the programmers are required to work in the development of the model itself and should know which parts to modify in their programs. Papers are just meant for the book shelf and external readers (e.g. QA certification).
