Association end stereotype with tagged values
« on: January 14, 2011, 12:14:06 am »
Hi all,

I'm trying to create a stereotype for association ends with specific tagged values. I have an UML profile model in wich I create the stereotype as an extension to the metaclass AssociationEnd. I've added a tagged value to this stereotype.

When I use this UML profile in a class diagram, I can select the stereotype for an association end of a relation between two classes. I do this in the Association Properties window on the Target Role tab. However, when I do this, the tagged value I defined in the profile does not appear.

This does work for all my other stereotypes applied to classes, attributes, and associations. Is there a way to make this work for association ends as well?

I'm using version 7.5.

Still a problem in version 15.2. I make a nice UML-profile with mandatory/optional stereotypes applying to the attribute Metaclass and associationEnd Metaclass, but when importing the profile this works perfectly for the attributes bit not for the associationends (aka rolenames). Which is a pity if you have a lot of those. Adding a stereotype by means of the New button works, but then what's the use of all the UML-profile functionality?
