WAN Optimizer questions

Hi *,

i'm using EA 7.5 and have performance issues with my remote database repository. I read about the WAN Optimizer and installed it as a service on my local machine.

I configured my Oracle Repository with the WAN Optimizer Admin.

However, I don't understand how configure EA to use the proxy. What am I missing? Shouldn't be there a new entry under "Connect to server.." ?

Is the WAN Optimizer acutally supported for EA 7.5?

Won't help at all I'm afraid.  It needs to be local to the repository, not your machine.

No, you need to connect to the repository as normal with an additional connection to the optimizer after you have set up the initial connection.

I recommend reading the documentation as these issues are explained there.
