Visual Studio test case interation with Sparx
« on: February 01, 2011, 09:07:51 am »
I've just gotten Visual Studio 2010 working with Sparx and MDG.

I can see a Sparx window within TFS, which is awesome. I can also create tasks, bugs, test cases etc for each requirement I have listed in the EA window.

The question now is, how do I create a traceability matrix between test cases logged in TFS and the requirements in Sparx?

I have noticed that whenever I create a work item in TFS it's added as a "tagged value" to the requirement in Sparx... maybe there is a way to have a matrix of tagged values with requirements???

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

We are also looking into creating a traceability matrix between test cases logged in TFS and the requirements in Sparx.

I looked at the latest version (4.5 Beta 2) of MDG and found that TFS workitems can only be pushed to EA, not the other way around.

We would prefer to push info from EA to TFS (e.g. EA use case scenario --> tfs workitem)

I'm very interested if anyone has any ideas how this could be done? [smiley=undecided.gif]
