Setting up a local path
« on: February 10, 2011, 11:11:38 am »
We are trying to use a local path to specify where documents get generated to for a model.

In the help it specifically mentions this use case.

What Type do we use for document generation.
All the preset types are languages. Why is there not one for rtf documents, or can we add it?

I presume

this this doesn't work in "Resources" such as
Document templates.
Because when I do this no substitutions are made.

I reported this as a bug. The response was:

I've never known Local paths to affect RTF or HTML generation.  I would say this is an error in the documentation and will pass it on the be fixed.

There was something however about local paths in the release notes for EA 9.
I just don't remember what exactly.
