Use Class's Notes to document an Instance in HTML

Does anyone know how to modify the HTML template to get it to display the Notes of the Class instead of or in addition to the Notes of the Instance when an Instance is documented?  We've documented each Class using the Element's Notes.  Sometimes we have to use an Instance in a diagram instead of the Class, but in the documentation we want to bring in the Notes from the Class  We don't want to have to copy and paste the Class's Notes into the Instance properties each time we create an Instance or modify the Notes in the Class.
