Portable App

Would it be possible to have EA as a PortableApp (I guess U3 is dying)?
Not sure from a licensing perspective if it would be legal but rather than keep installing and uninstalling EA on PCs as one moves around machines it might be nice just to push a stick in a USB and to pull it out when finished leaving the machine as it was.
I did a web search that proclaimed to have EA as a PortableApp but none of the links were "live"
