Attribute Matrix

We are trying to map two entities with a large number of attributes to each other, attribute by attribute. I know we can set connector end points to individual attributes. However, this will soon get difficult to read because the connectors are all over the place.
The problem is very similar to mapping two packages to each other, which is easy with a relationship matrix. Is there a way to do such a thing with entities and attributes? Even a report which isn't editable but shows the attributes of the two entities in a matrix would be very helpful.
