User permits - visibility permits
« on: April 29, 2011, 12:55:12 am »
Hi people.
First all, i hope you'll apologise me, because my english writing is not so good.

I have a DBMS repository in my job. I need manage a lot of users.
So, I need that some users can not see some packages, or models.
In the Single permissions windows, i only can grant permission for activities (e.g. "configure packages", "export XMI",...), but i need lock the "visibility" of a package, or model.

I hope you can understand me, and you can help then.

Thanks in advance.
Luciano.

Luciano,

In EA it is not possible to hide certain packages for certain users.
If you need something like that you'll have to split your model over different databases.

Geert, your help is very useful.

It's a shame, anyway, i will solve this by implementing differents repositories.

Thanks a lot.
