Document templates for every package

Hi there,

i'm wondering about if it is possible to get another document for every package on the same hierachy level.

Manually i can take a report for every package but is there a possibility to automate this?

On some packages i need a testing template and on others the basic template.

Any ideas about this question?

Suggest you look at the help under virtual documents. There you'll find how to create a master document with model documents underneath. With the model document you can specify a template drag packages into it that you want to use that template. By creating a number of different model documents you can achieve your desired result.

Thank you, this helps me a bit.

After i created a package "documentation" with the complete desired model i have now another related problem:

I can only get a full report by using the "documentation button??" next to the master document.

I there a possibility to do this from elsewhere? just right-click on the project model and get the report?

Another question: Is it possible to get only one package out of the complete build with the right template without giving the developers the possibility to change the template?

Try opening the documentation diagram and selecting one of the model documents then press key F8 and generate. You should get just that model document.
To stop others changing the generated document from MS Word you could
a) password protect it
b) Save as PDF

Not sure if you can stop people changing templates in the EA model however check out the security options under the menu  project>security. You can create a security group and restrict access to various functions. If you want them to have access to the model but not change it you could simply enable security and give them no rights to change anything. Alternatively generate an HTML version of the model
