Use of Audit in collaborative mode
« on: May 25, 2011, 06:27:46 pm »
Hi

I'd like to use EA audit feature to keep a log of all updates carried in the model.
I currently use EA in a collaborative mode with SVN. Unfortunately the XMI don't include EAP reference data such as the glossary, images, etc.
I understand that the Audit feature will store reference data in the EAP file, so this audit log data cannot be committed by each user onto SVN to have a view of all updates made.

Is anyone using the audit feature in a collaborative mode and share its experience? Would it work using the database rather than SVN?

Thanks
Guillaume

Guillaume,

I don't know it it works when using multiple private models and version control, but it certainly works when using a central database.
