Howto create message in timing diagram?

Hi,

EA version: 6.1.791
Version date: 31.01.2004

I have created time diagrams from toolbox but have problems connecting lifelines via messages.


I can't seem to create messages. EA help suggests how to do it in "Create a Timing Message" but it does not work for me. It always creates a self message outside the diagram box and does not connect any lifelines.


It seems the help does not match with the installed version becuase my EA version does not show the dialog box presented in help. It just shows dialog box of a normal self-message.

Any feedback on how to achieve this is very much appreciated.
