include & extend use case with relationship matrix

How can I create include and extend relationships between use cases using the Relationships Matrix?

I can only get existing relationships between use cases to show in the relationship matrix if I select Link Type = UseCase.

If I then try to create a new relationship right from the matrix having this link type selected then I don't get a choice for <<include>>, <<extend>> or <<inherit>>.

If I do create a new link, when I go back to a diagram with those use cases on it, then a simple association shows between the use cases.

Is there any way to create the specific kind of associations instead?
