updated objects with activity diagrams
« on: June 28, 2011, 01:12:33 am »
Hi

I created an activity diagram where I have an activity that reads properties from 2 objects to update 2 objects (one object being an input to the activity, another object existing before the activity started).
I use a combination of control flow and object flows (object flows being the pre/post cons of my activity)
Is it possible and even suggested to create a dependency or any other type of association (e.g. trace) to associate the same object "obj2" that has changed states before and after the process of an activity ?

Thanks!

Following further thoughts on this matter, I realise that severals occurences of an object with the same name illustrate how it changes as we follow the diagram so it doesn't look necessary for instance to link all obj2 occurences via any dependency link or any other kind of association.
