Change language rtf export
« on: February 23, 2011, 09:03:02 pm »
Hi there,
I am new to EA8.0862 and I have a general question I hope you can answer:
I want to export my models to rtf so I can import them in one big Word-Doc. Unfortunately, everytime I import in Word, the heading name is not converted in german, even if I use the codepage-tab when generating the rtf. It seems as EA is completely ignoring whatever I change in this Tab.
If I use Legacy RTF Report Generator it seems to work, but I cannot change fonts in there.
I really hope you can help me, thank you.
Sebastian

Okay, noone could help me, so I just helped myself ;)
I just found out that the Editor I used is obsolete.
So, for all the users belong us, who want to export models in rtf and merge them in word, here is the solution:
Edit your template.
Then, in the Template Editor, yoh click "Edit" --> "Edit Style" and create the Heading you want. In my case it was "Überschrift 2", when you are french, it would be something like "titre 2" or whatever you have in word selected for headings.
Now, you can choose font and size and finally select the text you want to mark.

By doing this, you can import many generated rtf in one word-doc with the proper heading-identifier. I hope this was helpful!

When you work this way you will loose the correct numbering of subheadings.
