Multiple Project Root Nodes in One Model
« on: August 03, 2011, 05:41:31 pm »
Hey All --

My apologies if this question has been asked before.  I've searched the forums, I've searched the User Guide, and I've searched the Sparxs site for an answer but I'm darned if I can figure this out...

I've had our DBA set up an Oracle database for our EA Model. I've tested the database, connected and transferred a test model into the database.  What I can't figure out for the life of me is how to set things up so I can have multiple projects within the same repository.  The only thing I've found on the Sparxs site is the white paper on EA Deployment and I can't seem to get my head around what's required to make it work... :-[

I've got multiple team members working on different pieces of work, so I want them to have their own projects within the same repository.

Have I missed something in setting up the respository?  Or is it that I need to turn on version control or something like that?

Any assist is appreciated.  I'm sure once somebody tells me, I'll be embarrassed by how blindingly obvious the answer is... :-)

Thanks again.

Right click on one the project root, and choose Add|Add Model (root node)

Geert

PS. Sorry it was that simple, didn't mean to make you feel bad ;)
