Looking up a Resource's in an RTF Report
« on: August 18, 2011, 10:41:14 pm »
I want to modify the Resource Allocation RTF report to include each resource's organisation.  But unfortunatley Organisation is not available as a field when processing each resource.  Is it possible to look it up as the report is generated?

If you don't know where to see the Organisation for a Resource you can see it from Settings->Project Types->People... then on the Resources tab.

Thanks,

Neil

The "Resource" section into the Package or Element sections hasn't the Organization field.

The only way to show the resource's organigazion is to create a table with the list of the Resources and its Organizations as the first chapter of the document (into the "Model | Resources" section of the RTF template) and then proceed with each element documenting its resources without the organization field.

Thanks Luis.  I feared that that might be the answer  :(

Another option:

You can put the Organization name as a part of the Resource name in the People window.

For example:

Joseph Murray (Sparx Systems)

Then, the Resource name always shows its organization...
