Business Process Modelling
« on: August 25, 2011, 05:01:32 pm »
Hello. How does EA deal with Business Process Modelling. I have an old version (v6) which includes some notation, but I'm trying to compare with Aris which uses controls, risks, processes, macros processes and activities.

Does EA v9 deal with this? Tx

Hot sure if this is what you are looking for, but when I conduct Business Process Modelling I use BPMN

Both BPMN version 1.1 and BPMN version 2.0 are supported in EA version 9.0

There is also a Strategic Modelling toolbox set which may well be worth a look at

For Enterprise Architecture modelling (of which Business Process Modelling is an important part), then take a look at TOGAF (included in the Ultimate license of EA - or as a separate licence)

EA has moved on greatly from version 6! Get hold of the latest version (or download a trial where everything mentioned above is available for 30 days)

Cheers
