Composition/Association Direction?
« on: September 08, 2011, 03:42:47 am »
Something has always puzzled me about EA associations.  Let's says that we have classes A, B and C.  A is composed of B and C.

If I drag an composition connector from A (source) to B (target), the diamond ends up on the B side, not the A side.

This seems backwards.  Am I missing something?  Is there a way to configure EA the other way?

Or don't the the obsolete composition connector at all. Draw an association and set its aggregation property in the source tab of the connector's property dialog.
