Requirement Management Tools with Web-Frontend
« on: September 09, 2011, 07:07:19 pm »
Hi All,

we use EA for all modelling issues.
Starts at codegen and ends with model based testing.

Now we would like to launch a RM-Tool, which has a Webfrontend to use company-wide.
And also an EA-Integration.
The best would be the EA-integrated Requirements functions with a webfrontend, but i think that does not work, or?

Best regards

Hi

Create a package under the Model root (My Diagrams-English) than add all your diagram, export them.
Create a another package under the Model root (MyDiagrams-German)
import and translate.

Don't see any other way - you have maintain both packages in sync - difficult but the only way I see is possible.

My 2 cents

Jose

Please, take a look at "Jira" tool, from Atlassian.

It's an excelent tool that provides generic workflow management for the implementation of several processes (requirements management, acceptance testing, issue tracking...).

There is a "EA Connector for Jira" integration (on-demand) available here:

Visure "IRqA" tool is specific for requirements management and also provides web frontend.
