Wont load project (no Errors given)

We are using Sparx 8.0 and there is a project using SQL that simply will not load.  I can create the connection and test it, but when it comes time to open it blinks and then nothing.  It still says "No current project" up top.  Before this happened, a user called saying he was doing something than the program crashed and cannot get back in.  I have repair the installation, and restored the database but still nothing.  Anyone have an idea.  Thanks in advance.

No, if you have restored a backup of the database then it should work.
Especially if you use another client to access it.
Have you tried with version 9.1?
You could also run a profiler on the database to figure out what (if anything) is happening on the database side.

Have you verified the ODBC configuration? - i.e. verified that you can connect without entering username and password..
