Data Flow Diagram Connections

I see how to create a data flow diagram. Also, I see how to add a sub diagram for each process. Is there a way to automate the connections to the lower level?

For example, a process may have inputs from Orders, Customers, and Product. It has an output of Pick Lists. When I create the sub diagram, I would like to see connections that represent these. In addition, if I change the name on the upper level diagram the change should flow down.

Is this possible in EA? Other tools I have used for Data Flows do this and it is really nice to have to keep consistency.
