Synchrinization with a EAP File with Security "on"

Just came across this:
1) EAP Replica with enabled Security / Access Control
2) EAP Design Master with no such enabled feature
Try Sync 2 with 1 results in the nice Error message that the two replicas can not be synchronized as there is no common point to start from.
Since the security option is the one thing I changed recently I was wondering if this could be the origin of the problem, as well as the fact as syncing worked a few days ago...  :-/

That's your problem right there.
This replication stuff seems great as long as it works, but once you have a problem you are seriously f*cked.
I would avoid it at all costs, I've seen people trying to eat their desks while dealing with replication issues
